The E-Type Jaguar is quite simply one of the best cars in the world ever to be manufactured which makes it a very desirable car to own. This is a RARE gem as it has only had 1 registered keeper from new and has an amazingly low mileage of 1736. It is highly unlikely that another original E-Type Jaguar with such low mileage will ever be available to purchase again. This particular car is finished in Regency Red with a Beige Leather interior and has an aluminium-trimmed centre instrument panel and console. The car was supplied new by G Blizzard Motors of Chorley Wood and registered as KAR 66G by Hertfordshire County Council on 9th May 1969. The car was last taxed for use in 1977 and the owner at that time commissioned marque specialist Alan Collins to refurbish/recommission it after it had been in storage for 24 years. However, the work was not completed until 2009 due to erratic payments from the owner. We have a copy of a handwritten summary of the work carried out on the car totalling at £26,345.61 which included brand new wheels and tyres. It also had a full stainless-steel exhaust, electronic ignition fitted and full interior trim taking the total spend to around £30,000.00. For whatever reason, the owner never asked for a radio to be fitted, so it still retains its original blanking plate, speaker grilles and aerial bung. It also retains its original matching numbers engine and an all-synchromesh 4 speed Manual Gearbox2. After the recommissioning works were completed
