Used 1982 BMW Alpina by TWR

This E28 Generation 1982 Alpina TWR 3.5 is an exceptionally rare modern classic sports saloon converted in period by racing outfit Tom Walkinshaw Racing which held the UK franchise prior to Sytner. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.5-litre straight-six, delivering around 240bhp and 236lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels. Prior to Sytner’s involvement with Alpina, the German tuner’s franchise holder in the UK was Tom Walkinshaw Racing. The BMW E28 Alpina TWR 3.5 was based on a standard E28 BMW 528i, from which TWR removed the standard 2.8-litre engine and fitted a more powerful 3.5-litre engine, while also adding Bilstein dampers and upgraded brakes Other changes include the front air dam, TWR and Alpina branding, blue and green stripes on the bumper as well as upgraded Alpina striped seats.
