1985 Rover SD1 2400 SD Turbo Diesel. Bordeaux Red Metallic with Chestnut velour upholstery. This extremely rare Turbo Diesel SD1 has covered just 60, 000 miles from new and was originally supplied to Belgium in 1985. The car is left hand drive and been extremely well cared for throughout its life and is still in beautiful original condition. This Rover came to us in part exchange with its last keeper importing the car to the U.K in 2017 after enjoying it at his holiday home in Spain. It is fully U.K registered with all taxes paid and the speedo changed to MPH with correct mileage conversion. The paintwork displays a stunning lustre and the upholstery shows no signs of wear. Mechanically the Rover is very strong, once the glow plug light extinguishes the 2.4 Diesel engine starts on demand and married to a 5 speed manual gearbox the car performs very well. Power steering is standard and makes for an enjoyable drive. The history file contains a large amount of paperwork which includes the original bill of sale from Transco N.V of Antwerp dated July 29th 1985 showing that the car had the options of air conditioning and a Phillips AC 740 radio cassette which is still fitted in the car.
