We recently purchased this great looking VW Touran from a dealer in Eastbourne and road tested it over 150 miles back to our base in Weldon. The car started first turn of the key, the 106 BHP engine sounded healthy and it pulled well in all gears. The seven speed DSG gearbox changed up/down nicely with no clunks or holdbacks. The vehicle handled/cornered nicely with no untoward knocking noises from the suspension over bumps. The car is equipped with fully working cruise control, park assist including front/rear sensors, electric windows and cd radio as some of it's specification. It also features a panoramic sunroof which was an optional extra when new at a cost of £940!! The VW would make an ideal family car as it's spacious inside (even more so with the rear seats folded down!) and is cheap to run, costing just £180 per year in road tax, it's in the group 13 insurance bracket and returns impressive mpg of over 55 miles combined. Some service history is included with a printout from the main dealer and we have just had it serviced prior to advertising at 80044 miles. There is also evidence of a cambelt change in 2021 @ 68678 miles! We have also Mot'd the vehicle and put it through our 47 point safety check as part of our pre-sales preparation.
