We recently took this Vauxhall Insignia in part exchange against a Nissan Qashqai as the customer needed a newer ULEZ compliant vehicle. We have given the car a 20 mile test drive and it seemed to drive ok. It started first time from cold, the 128 BHP engine sounded fine and it pulled well in all 6 gears. The gearbox and clutch both operated as they should and the car handled the roads well too with no apparent knocking noises from the suspension when driving over bumps. The black cloth interior is in pretty tidy condition for the age, there are no unpleasant odours and all electrics appeared to work as they should including the speed limiter, cd radio and air con which blew cold. We have got proof of seven services with invoices for all of these and a few other bits of paperwork such as parts receipts for repairs done in the past. We have also got the up-to date Mot certificate which is advisory free and a 'HPI' clear certificate which will be given to the buyer. Overall, it's a decent car that would make an ideal runaround for someone looking for a cheap vehicle. We are selling the car as a trade sale with no warranty offered or implied as it doesn't meet our retail criteria, mainly due to it needing some cosmetic bodywork doing to make it tidier - please view and zoom into the pictures to ascertain the general condition.
