We recently purchased this fantastic looking Skoda Octavia from a dealer in Newcastle where it was taken in part exchange and road tested it over 200 miles back to our base in Weldon. The car started first time from cold, the 148 BHP engine sounded healthy and it had plenty of power in all 6 gears. The gearbox and clutch both operated nicely with no clunks, crunches or vibrations when changing up/down. The Skoda handled and cornered very well indeed with no unwanted knocking noises from the suspension over bumps. For a car that's covered over 152k miles in it's lifetime, it drives like its done 52k and it is in very good condition too. The white paintwork looks good with only light scratches as you'd expect on a car of it's age and the black/grey cloth looks great showing minimal signs of wear, the cabin smells nice and all electrics worked as they should when tested including the sat nav, bluetooth, dab radio, parking sensors and climate control with cold-blowing air con. The Octavia has got an amazing service history which goes to show just how well looked after it has been throughout it's life. We have two wallets of paperwork including invoices for twelve services which were done at intervals of 8660, 17010, 26667, 55270, 71078, 79366, 84774, 96874, 1***, 119250, 136127 and 147398 miles. The cambelt and waterpump have been changed twice, first one was in 2019 at 79k and most recently in Feb 2022 at 130535 miles with reciepts for both.
