We have extensively road tested the Captur 30 miles prior to offering for sale and it drove very well indeed! It started first time from cold, the 89 BHP engine sounded healthy and it powered through all 5 gears with ease. The gearbox felt tight with no clunks or crunches and the clutch bites at the correct position. The Renault handled/cornered smoothly on the roads with no knocks from the suspension. The black/cream cloth interior is in fantastic condition with no rips/tears in the seats, the cabin is free from bad odours and all electrics worked as they should when tested including the sat nav, dab media, parking sensors, cruise/limiter and air con which blew cold. The Captur would make a brilliant family car as it's economical to run, costing just £185 per year in road tax, it's in the group 11 insurance bracket and is great on fuel too, returning impressive mpg of over 67 miles combined.
